‘Like Mother, Like Daughter.’ The girl who lightened up the screen space with her spontaneity and that inborn talent which came to her as a legacy from mommy Tanuja, having a  filmy background herself as Tanuja’s mother Shobhna Samarth was the first to sport  a swimwear in Indian Cinema. Nutan, her sister much known for the amazing flair in acting, adds furthermore to the list.
Kajol faced much opposition regarding her choice to join the film world from daddy producer Somu Mukherjee who was not in approval of the same. Until, Tanuja stood by her daughter’s side like a firm rock to the extent that eventually their marriage developed cracks, perhaps to let Kajol emerge out as a widely acclaimed actor. The industry received its rare jewel which is still spreading sparkling shine, however, the dark side of the story remains in curtains.
